ETC Fabiani enlisted in the U.S. Navy in February 2001.  After attending ET, a School in Great Lakes, Illinois, he received orders to USNS Supply (AOE 6), home ported in Earle, New Jersey.  On Supply, ETC Fabiani served as a NAVMACS Technician before injuring himself in a car accident. Petty Officer was then sent to FACSFAC VACAPES for LIMDU until his full recovery.

 

ETC then reported to USS Thorn (DD988) in June 2003 as the lead 2M Tech and NAVMACS tech.  He was a DECOM plank owner onboard Thorn and achieved his ESWS pin and made their “Sunset” Deployment from October 2003 to May 2004.

 

In August 2004 ET1 transferred to USS Doyle (FFG39).  ETC made 2 deployments on Doyle, earned his CSOOW letter, and was promoted under the Command Advancement Program to E5.

 

In May 2007 he transferred to United States Naval Academy, Annapolis. While at USNA he was the Lead Simulator technician while also being an instructor. This was a new billet for E-5’s in the Navy to teach future officers from the deck plates. At USNA ETC was instrumental in the molding of all Mission Bridge Simulators as well as 12 new Flight Simulators. While stationed at the USNA he earned his AAS Degree in Electronics Engineering and his BS in Electronics Engineering Technology.

 

In June 2010 he transferred to USS Gravely. Onboard Gravely he was advanced under the Command Advancement Program to E6, commissioned her, made her maiden deployment, and contributed greatly to the Navy and Gravely’s mission.

 

In September 2014 he transferred to Center for Surface Combat Systems Detachment East (CSCS) as an instructor.  Shortly after arriving he assumed the duties and responsibilities as the Command Career Counselor and Master Training Specialist (MTS) Coordinator.  In 2016 he was selected to have the privilege and honor to be an Electronics Technician Chief Petty Officer.

ET1 Fabiani Graduated from North Penn High School Lansdale, PA in 1999.  He has one daughter Caitlyn Brea (8) and a lovely wife Brittany who is a veterinary assistant and animal enthusiast. His personal awards include the Navy Achievement Medal (7 awards) Navy Commendation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal (5 awards), and the 2013 Navy and Marine Corps Association Leadership Award.
